White salt deposits, damp patches that won’t dry, and hazy films that keep returning are all signs of alkalinity problems in your concrete. These issues occur when water migrates through the slab and carries soluble salts (sodium, potassium, and calcium compounds) to the surface. Pentra-Sil C&N solves these problems through lithium ion technology. When applied, the treatment penetrates into the concrete substrate where the lithium ions chemically react with the excess alkalis. This reaction converts unstable, water-soluble compounds into stable, insoluble silicates that remain locked within the concrete matrix. The result is a surface that no longer pushes salts and moisture to the top.
